MOST people turning 30 might mark the occasion with a party. But David Gretton has done things a little differently. The Park South man set himself the 30 before 30 challenge in aid of the mental health charity Mind, hoping to complete 30 activities before he turned 30 in December. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic interrupting the challenges, the customer service assistant managed to complete 15 and raised £200. “The lockdowns did put a dampener on things,” said David. “It’s a bit disappointing not to have been able to get it done by my birthday. But I’m just going to keep going. I said at the beginning either way I’m going to be doing 30 challenges so I’ve got to keep going.”
