A VINTAGE French van has been transformed into a pop-up cocktail bar which can be found at Palmyra Square at weekends. La Petite Maison has been launched by the team at Bold Street House where people can relax with a cocktail, beer or wine on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. As part of an innovative move to keep the business running during the restrictions, the team have also created an area in Queens Gardens with four pods and a number of picnic benches. Bold Street House s 1979 Citroen HY van simply pulls in each weekend to serve everyone. The pods can be pre-booked with the benches available for walk-ins.

DUBAI: The best way to describe eating at Dubai’s LPM the restaurant formerly known as La Petite Maison is to compare it to having a meal inside an exquisite art gallery.
The interiors are washed in light, natural colors, with beige leather seats and white linen tablecloths, giving it an elegant and sophisticated vibe. In fact, it felt as if we had been transported to a café in France.

The white walls are bathed in warm lighting and adorned with original artworks. Wooden boxes and modernist sculptures are dotted throughout the whole area. It truly felt like we were eating at a gallery or an swanky house. But while LPM is definitely high-end and refined, it’s also cozy and welcoming.
Jake Finn to open Cinder in Belsize Village Chef Jake Finn will open his debut restaurant later this month, in London’s Belsize Village.
Called Cinder, the restaurant will serve a menu of dishes where ingredients have been cooked on a Josper grill, with dishes grills taking influences from Peru, Japan, Italy, France and Greece.
Menu items will include seared tuna, black beer ponzu, radish and spring onion; lamb kebabs marinated in yoghurt, maple syrup, oregano and sage; and grilled mastelo cheese with kalamata glaze and oregano. There will also be sharing dishes for two, such as whole sea bream, fennel, radish and herbs; and a dessert of apple tarte fine with vanilla cream.
