Disney-Plus has added content warnings to several beloved animated classics because they include “negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures.”
Expanded content warnings were added to several films in October 2020, but the streaming service took things to the next level in January by removing several titles from the profiles of children under 7 years old.
The decision came after a diverse panel of experts reviewed Disney’s expansive catalog of films and found several with what they determined to be problematic imagery.
After Disney+ limited access to several classic children's movies, a leading media watchdog is calling on Disney to be consistent by restricting kids' access to mature content on its Hulu streaming service.

Surveillance of wastewater has been deployed around colleges and cities to monitor for spread as even those without symptoms shed the virus in feces.
