Cumbrian Butchers Cranstons has raised thousands for Hospice at Home

A CHARITY has benefitted from the fundraising efforts of a Northern business. Cranstons has raised over £3,500 for Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland through their annual Christmas fundraising drive. A grand total of £3509 was raised from the sale of Christmas puddings and pigs in blankets, where the bakery donated 50p from each item sold to the Cumbrian charity. The butcher and maker was unable to host their annual Christmas shopping evenings and charity raffle due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, so the company decided to extend their product donations so Hospice at Home did not lose out on key funding.
