EDWARDSVILLE Claims that the Madison County Health Department is “sitting on” its stock of COVID-19 vaccine is not true, according to Madison County Public Health Department Director Toni Corona.
Democratic Party Chairman Randy Harris this week said the county’s vaccination numbers are “appalling” and attacked the Republican-led Madison County Board and the administration of Board Chairman Kurt Prenzler.
“The idea the county is sitting on any vaccine is false,” Corona said. “All the vaccine doses are accounted for and the appointments to administer them are scheduled for the near future.”
