A woman was found dead at her residential apartment located near Civic Centre on Sunday, said New Town police. After getting information, volunteers reached the property and transported the casualty.

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The Louisiana Department of Health has made a few location changes to COVID-19 testing sites in the Lake Area.
The LANG testing site will move from the health unit back to the Civic Center on Friday, Dec. 18. LANG will no longer be at the public health unit parking lot on Kirkman Street. Testing will still be available at the health unit, but not the LANG site, according to Regional Medical Director, Dr. Lacey Cavanaugh.
Gaffigan fans will have to wait until later in 2021 to see the comedian live.

Jim Gaffigan comedian, actor, and writer has postponed his show at the Mayo Civic Center once more.
The comedian’s “Pale Tourist” world tour was originally scheduled to stop in Rochester on Oct. 2, 2020. Gaffigan will instead perform at the Civic Center on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021. The show had previously been pushed back to early April
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Central Valley Health District will begin conducting daily COVID-19 testing Beginning December 14th through December 22nd.
Central Valley Health Unit Administrator Robin Iszler says they’ve been conducting weekly testing at the University of Jamestown on Tuesday’s and the Civic Center on Friday’s. Staring December 14th, they’ll test daily on weekdays from 10 AM to 12 PM. Iszler says these testing events will be using the BinaxNow system, a rapid testing tool.
