SEVASTOPOL, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) â The Door County Sheriffâs Office is investigating a death after what deputies are calling a medical emergency following a 35-year-old man being pulled out of water.
At about 2:39 p.m. Saturday afternoon, deputies received a call about a man who was swimming off the shore of Cave Point County Park in the Town of Sevastapol.
They say the man came out of the water, and then collapsed, falling back into the water.
Several bystanders helped pull him out of the water, and tried to revive him.
First-responders then arrived, who took him to a hospital, where the man was pronounced dead.
