Hersheypark Set To Begin 2021 Season
(Hershey, PA) Hersheypark is preparing to begin its new season this year. The park announced Friday that it will be opening on April 2nd. Mural Honoring Black Women On Display In Lancaster
(Lancaster, PA) A mural that honors black women is now on display in downtown Lancaster. The mural called Protection was unveiled at the Ware Center over the weekend. It was created by the Lancaster L-B-G-T-Q-Plus Coalition and artists Kearasten Jordan and Pilisa Mackey. The mural represents the need for protection of Black women and can be seen from North Prince Street.
Apartment fire being investigated as arson: police

Police have determined a fire that left more than two dozen people without homes earlier this month was started intentionally, and they now need the public’s help.
Around 5 a.m. Jan. 8, a fire broke out at Pennswood Apartments in the 400 block of Amherst Drive, according to Lower Paxton Township police.
According to previous reports, 16 units were damaged in the fire and police had to help several people escape. Some officers suffered smoke inhalation at the time.
29 people were displaced during the fire, but no injuries were reported.
On Thursday, Lower Paxton Township Police said they are investigating the fire as an arson. Dauphin County Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of up to $2000 for any information leading to an arrest in the case.

HARRISBURG, Pa. A couple from Indiana has been charged after Lower Paxton Township Police discovered more than 900 counterfeit items worth an estimated $100,000 during a search of their vehicle on Tuesday.
Larry Jones Jr., 42, and Maria Bonner, 37, both of Indianapolis, are charged with trademark counterfeiting, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia in the incident, which occurred at a Ramada Inn on the 300 block of N. Mountain Road in Harrisburg, police say.

According to police, members of the Community Engagement Team observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the hotel and approached the occupants, later identified as Jones and Bonner.
