Rid Litter Day tomorrow, other events planned for community and local businesses

Rid Litter Day is tomorrow The Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce is inviting businesses and community members to participate in Rid Litter Day on Tuesday, April 27. The Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Keep America Beautiful and Keep Arkansas Beautiful for the Great American Cleanup event. CEO and Executive Director of the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce Bethany Hildebrand said anyone in Stuttgart can participate. “We will be out taking pictures from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m., but we encourage anyone to participate at any time of day that works for you. You can decide what area you would like to clean up. We have businesses who just sign up to pick up around their area. We have civic organizations that will sign up to clean up the main streets. We want to encourage everyone to get out and help us clean up Stuttgart,” Hildebrand said.

Registration now open for Keep Arkansas Beautiful s annual spring cleanup During the Great American Cleanup, thousands of Arkansas volunteer annually to clean up and beautify their communities throughout a multitude of cleanup events. The Keep Arkansas Beautiful (KAB) Commission opened registration for its annual spring cleanup, the Great American Cleanup (GAC) in Arkansas.  The GAC takes place each spring from March through May and is the nation’s largest community improvement effort.  During the GAC, thousands of Arkansas volunteer annually to clean up and beautify their communities throughout a multitude of cleanup events.
