Nobody wanted to be No. 1 late Tuesday morning at Churchill Downs
That sentiment will change big time Saturday when Churchill runs the Kentucky Derby for the 147th time. Everyone wants to be
numero uno then.
Tuesday, not so much.
The draw for post positions was held and morning-line odds were assigned to each of the 20 horses entered for the most famous horse race. Drama came late in the annual ceremony, which was held in front of connections of most of the horses in the Aristides Lounge on the second floor of the track’s clubhouse.
