父母曾得到关爱
原来，朱颖的父母年事已高，身体不太好，母亲还是一位残疾人。在朱颖不在身边的那几年，居委会经常关心慰问，点点滴滴帮助很多。例如，老两口虽然住在一楼，但是因为没有残疾人坡道，要出门还是需要走三级台阶。因此，每次朱颖的母亲要坐轮椅出门看病，只要打一个电话，居委干部就会上门帮她推轮椅出来，然后送她去医院。另外，老房子一楼容易有蟑螂，居委干部还会送上防蟑螂的药，十分体贴周到。
朱颖的父亲是楼组长，也是一位志愿者。以前朱颖就会经常帮助父亲发发宣传资料，做一些力所能及的事情。因为父母和年幼的儿子都需要有人照料，丈夫又工作繁忙，回国后的朱颖辞去了朝九晚五的日企工作，选择了相对自由的保险行业，并且在父母家附近借了房子居住。出于对社区的感恩、对志愿工作的�
