Joseph Gibson, son of Joe and Kristi Gibson, was named the April Student of the Month for the Automotive Technology program at the Lincolnland Technical Education Center. He is a senior at Williamsville High School and a second-year automotive technology student.
Jon Graber, instructor of the program, selected Joseph for his willingness to learn, aptitude, and ability to put into practice what he’s learned.
“Joseph listens to instruction and takes direction well. He is a very hard worker and doesn’t mind going the extra mile. He comes into class every day prepared to work, is intuitive, and picks up skills quickly,” said Graber.
Merriman named LTEC Student of the Month

Jared Merriman, son of Tim and Kathy Merriman was named December Student of the Month for the Criminal Justice Program at the Lincolnland Technical Education Center.
Merriman is a senior at Lincoln Community High School.
Larry Smith, instructor, said Merriman is a wonderful student and is currently has the highest grade that can be earned.
“Jared has joined the Army National Guard, and is due to begin basic training after graduation in June, 2021. He will do exceptionally well in the National Guard,” said Smith.
“Jared is a very fine young man; honest, friendly and willing to work hard. He will make an outstanding police officer and has the qualities that are needed by all criminal justice professionals especially being a person of integrity. Jared is working to achieve his goals and has bright and exciting future ahead of him. Our society needs more people like Jared to become police officers,” continued Sm
