The cursed cooking pot of East Halton was sealed in a “specially-made steel cage” and secured from the outside world in the mid-1970s.
It has been locked away for almost 50 years so not cause another person’s violent death – but its legend lives on.

A Cleethorpes newsagents is wowing customers with its innovative Asian market and independent butchers.
The Costcutters on Middlethorpe Road was reopened in September when owners Anogan Anu Srikantha and Sukanya Printhavan unveiled their new mini Asian market. The store offers all sorts of exotic products from banana leaves to jackfruit and an array of local meat from their butchers.
The new addition to the shop has seen it bring in many new customers who are so impressed they ve become regulars.
