Show Transcript NEWS STORIES IN OUR AREA. THE ATF, FBI AND SEVERAL OTHER AGENCIES IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA ARE LOOKING FOR ANSWERS AFTER SUSPECTED EXPLOSIVE DEVICES WERE FOUND. BREVARD POLICE RECIEVED A CALL ABOUT THE DEVICES AROUND 10:30 THIS MORNING. OFFICIALS SAY IT WAS REPORTED IN THE AREA OF EAST MORGAN AND GASTON STREETS, WHICH IS NEAR THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF BREVARD. NOW WE ARE TOLD THE DEVICES HAVE NOT BEEN DETONATED, AND THE AREA WAS EVACUATED AS A PRECAUTION.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - One person was rushed to the hospital after an overnight shooting near Bosse Field.
That happened just after 1 Wednesday morning.
Police say they believe it started as a dispute on Maxwell Avenue, but the person shot was found near East Morgan Avenue.
They say firefighters with the Evansville Fire Department, who was on a call nearby, performed life-saving measures on the victim until an ambulance arrived.
