Force was reported. Money, property and parts were taken from multiple vehicles between Jan. 26 and 28. Affected streets included North Chelsea Lane, Hillandale Road and Battery Lane. Force was reported in multiple cases. Property was taken from multiple vehicles between Jan. 23 and 29. Affected streets included Jones Bridge Court, Altimont Lane, Lawrence Avenue, Warner Street, Wildwood Road and Perry Avenue. Force was reported in two cases.

Cops foil trio s bid to smuggle 4,000kg of ketum leaves from Kedah to K tan

GERIK (Bernama): An attempt by a lorry driver and two tontos to smuggle ketum leaves from Kedah to Kelantan failed when the vehicle was stopped at a roadblock at KM9 of the Gerik-Jeli stretch of the East-West Highway, in Sungai Lebey near here on Wednesday (Feb 10). Gerik OCDP Supt Zulkifli Mahmood said in the 7pm incident, an inspection on the three-tonne lorry found four tonnes (4,000kg) of ketum leaves stored in 400 black plastic packages in the back of the heavy vehicle. Police then arrested the 31-year-old lorry driver and pursued the two tontos , who were in a black 4WD that had passed the roadblock earlier.

Men Armed With AR-15 Robbed Papa John s, Subway and Liquor Store, Detectives Say

“I was very scared,” an employee told News4. “I couldn’t speak.” They forced three employees on the ground at gunpoint and took cash, police said. “They put the gun on my head, and I opened the register for them,” the employee said. Detectives said the men robbed a Subway restaurant in Northeast D.C. about an hour later. Surveillance video shows the three men walk in with the handgun and rifle, steal money from the register, and walk out. Then, in Prince George’s County, the men robbed a liquor store on Oxon Hill Road, pointing guns and taking cash, detectives said.
