Erlanger Physical Therapy announces Robbie Miles, PT, ATC has joined as the new Outpatient Physical Therapy Supervisor for all six Erlanger clinics. Mr. Miles has over 20 years’ experience as a physical therapist and over 15 years’ of experience as an athletic trainer. He completed his physical therapy degree at the University of Tennessee, Memphis then began his career in Winston-Salem, NC, working for Orthopaedic Specialists of the Carolinas. In 2003 he completed his Athletic Training Certification before earning his Sports Clinical Specialists designation awarded by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists in 2009.
Work To Start Immediately On New Home For CSLA At Former Lakeside Elementary Site Wednesday, April 28, 2021
The County Commission on Wednesday approved a $30,690,000 bid for a new home for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts (CSLA) at the former Lakeside Elementary School campus by Highway 58.
The project will include renovating some 92,000 square feet at the current school and constructing a 50,000 square foot addition. county school facilities director Justin Witt said.
The low bid was from Tricon, Inc., of Cleveland, Tn.
Christman Company of Knoxville bid $31,077, and P&C Construction was at $31,850,000.
The addition will include a section for the middle school and high school, including a new gymnasium.

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love youth baseball and softball andwhile all five of my grandchildren are playing this spring, it means that I am in a very special place almost seven days a week. Wednesday appears to be the only day my wife Shelia and I aren t sitting in our trusty ball field chairs, watching the grands play their favorite sport. Last night for instance, three of them were in action from Soddy Lake to East Brainerd. Time restrictions only allowed us to watch one of them and when that happens we need to wisely pick and choose.

Jon-Michael Britton Ream, 31, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 in St. Louis, Mo.
Jon-Michael was born in Orlando, Florida to Jeff and Kathy Ream. Jon-Michael graduated from Ooltewah High School in 2008 where he played the saxophone in the marching band. He received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2013 and was a member of the Delta Upsilon fraternity. Jon-Michael was employed as an account executive with the Mohawk Group.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Marilyn Rinck; paternal grandparents, Vince and Margaret Ream; and aunt, Gail Woutila.

Morning Pointe Senior Living is marking the one year anniversary of the Easter 2020 tornado with a special gratitude ceremony thanking the first responders and community partners who helped them through the recovery process. The privately-held ceremony will take place outside under the portico this Thursday at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga. Additionally, the ceremony will celebrate the reopening of the assisted living community, which welcomed residents back to the newly rebuilt building in November 2020.
