Ben Wood, in January 2020. Otter East is located in the former Downhome Deli & Market building, which Horton purchased in March 2020 and planned to use as additional production space for his bakery. The future was pretty cloudy, but I thought it would give us some options and more elbow room, he said.

Residents weaving through the tourists, the sound of children throwing poppers onto the ground, workers unloading boxes of fresh produce onto crowded sidewalks while locals compete to find the best deals.
Now, many businesses in America s oldest Chinatown are at risk of closing. We spent a day in Chinatown to find out how the neighborhood is really doing.

As we ve found ourselves back under a shelter-at-home order in most of the Bay Area, I ve found myself once again turning to my trusty travel shows to shake off some of the wanderlust I ve been finding myself in. And while I ve taken to shows that explore far off places via my television, it s been the episodes of my beloved San Francisco that s had me feeling wistful than most and has me making a spreadsheet of places to remember to revisit for takeout.
