PHILADELPHIA, PA A winter storm watch has been issued in the Philadelphia region for a storm expected Sunday.
Heavy snow is possible, the National Weather Service said. More than 5 inches of accumulation is possible. Travel could be very difficult, the Weather Service said.
The watch begins at midnight on Sunday and goes through 4 p.m. The following suburban Philadelphia counties are under the watch: Bucks; Chester; Delaware; Montgomery, and Philadelphia.

According to forecasters, snow will move in overnight Saturday night from southwest to northeast and may fall heavy for a time into Sunday morning before winding down from west to east by the mid to late afternoon.

EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA A monster of a winter storm that has blanketed the region since Sunday will finally come to an end Tuesday. Some parts of Eastern Pennsylvania have already received more than 30 inches of snow as of early Tuesday, and more accumulation is possible.
The National Weather Service said periods of light snow will continue throughout the day Tuesday, with 1 to 3 inches of additional snow expected. Snow will taper off in the late afternoon and the storm will be completely offshore by midnight.
