When we moved in, it was a mess. We cleared it up and then planted the garden. The concept of my ornamental garden was to have a fusion of tropical flowering plants and foliage.
The garden is home to a variety of beautiful plants from wild orchids and ferns such as the Staghorns to loads of perennial flowers. We have a lot of butterflies, bees and birds that come every morning. And, of course, my two cats that seem to enjoy it the most!

Battery of traffic signals seems to have become the latest target for
thieves in East Bengaluru.
At midnight on Sunday,
traffic police said the batteries were stolen after they finished their duty at the Naga circle junction on St. Johns Road and returned to the police station. They added that road work is going on next to the traffic signal and the whole area is dug up.
Decision was taken after a poor response from people above the age of 45
If all goes as planned, people above the age of 45 in Bengaluru will soon be able to walk into a designated hospital and get vaccinated against COVID-19 as late as 9 p.m.
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), in consultation with private hospitals, has decided to extend vaccination timings, following a lukewarm response to the third phase of the vaccination drive, which began on April 1. As most of the people in this category are working professionals, private hospital managements in Bengaluru have been asked to keep the Co-WIN portal accessible till 9 p.m. This will enable people above the age of 45 to visit vaccination centres after they wrap up work for the day. It will be rolled out in the coming days, said officials.

Named after one of India s top engineers, the Visvesvaraya terminal at Baiyappanahalli in East Bengaluru is an upgraded version of one that opened two years ago in Varanasi. The terminal boasts of features associated with good amenities, which include seven platforms and six stabling lines that will take the load off the KSR city railway station in Bengaluru and Yeshwantpur railway stations.
