North Alabama teams moving on to Final Four
Jemison Girls and Lee Boys are among the North Alabama teams heading to the state finals.

Lee started out slow against Jemison in the 5A Regional Final at Wallace State Tuesday, but the Generals got ahead at the half and never trailed again.
Lee won 70-43 over the Jags. Now Lee will face Sylacauga in the state semi-finals Saturday.
The Jemison Girls won a tight one in their rematch against East Limestone in the 5A Regional Final.
The final score 56-51. Jemison moves on to play Charles Henderson in Birmingham.
Tennessee woman, 2-year-old daughter die in Alabama mobile home fire

A woman ran back into a burning Limestone County mobile home in an effort to rescue her 2-year-old daughter early this morning, authorities said, but both the mother and child died in the blaze.
Jeffrey Branson and the 32-year-old woman made it out of the mobile home at 28746 Jennings Chapel Road off East Limestone Road, according to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, but the woman went back in. The names of the woman, from Prospect, Tennessee, and her daughter had not been released as of late Wednesday afternoon.

Update: The Limestone County coroner, Mike West, identified the mother as 32-year-old Shauna Leary and the child as two-year-old Sunshine Reynolds.
West says Leary, who was pregnant, is from Lewisburg, Tennessee. She and her daughter were killed in the fire Wednesday morning.
According to the coroner, the two victims were visiting friends at a mobile home on Jennings Chapel Road.
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office says the mobile home apparently was owned by Allen Dale Branson. Investigators believe Jeffrey Branson and Shauna Leary made it out of the mobile home, but she ran back in to retrieve her daughter.
