Basalt, Roaring Fork and Bridges high schools will be transitioning to distance learning for the remainder of the final week before winter break, due to staffing issues related to COVID-19 quarantines.
“Due to diminished staff capacity, Basalt, Roaring Fork and Bridges High Schools will transition to distance learning through the remainder of this week,” according to a statement from the district sent Monday afternoon.
Bridges, the district’s alternative high school located in Carbondale, announced its full transition on Sunday, while Basalt and Roaring Fork announced their transition on Monday, the release said.
“Glenwood Springs High School remains learning in-person at this time,” according to the district statement.
