Delbert Louis Bramlett

Wednesday, June 9, 2021 9:40 am Delbert Louis Bramlett, 87, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at his residence. Born in Harlan, Ky., on May 24, 1934, to the late Elmer and Alma Bramlett, he lived in Lewisburg and Brookville, Ohio, before moving to Cleveland 10 years ago. He was a veteran of United States Army.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Bramlett; children: Debbie McDermott, Timothy Bramlett; and Thomas Bramlett (Margie); two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and a host of friends.

Betty Hutchings

Wednesday, May 19, 2021 10:21 am Betty Hutchings, 84, of Cleveland, passed peacefully on Sunday, May 16, 2021, with her daughter by her side. Born in Sparta on Sept. 18, 1936, Betty was the daughter of Frank B. Carter and Novella Hattie Frazier. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Boyd H. Hutchings; her son, Boyd Alan “Hutch” Hutchings; her three sisters: Jean Padgett, Linda Broyles and Frances Jolley; and her beloved dog, Molly B., who brought her so much joy in this life. She is survived by her daughter, Erica M. Hutchings of Washington, D.C. Betty was a lifelong member of Hopewell Baptist Church, and she loved and cherished her circle of friends there. She had an unwavering faith in God and Jesus. No matter how dark times got, she would always say “it will all work out if we pray about it.”
