Police: Motorcyclist dead after head-on crash Tuesday

CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio â A man is dead after his motorcycle crashed head-on with another vehicle Tuesday, according to police.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said 56-year-old Anthony Stevens was driving his truck south on State Route 380 near Inwood Road in Wilmington, Ohio around 5 p.m. when he came across a vehicle stopped in the roadway. Stevens drove left-of-center to avoid the vehicle and struck a motorcycle driving south on State Route 380 driven by 55-year-old Terry Scott.
The Chester Township EMS and Clinton County Coroner s Office pronounced Scott dead at the scene. Stevens was not injured in the crash.

CHESTER TWP. –A Dayton man was killed when his motorcycle was struck head-on by an SUV late Tuesday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Wilmington Post.
The crash occurred at approximately 5 p.m. on State Route 380 at Inwood Road, Chester Township, Clinton County.
Preliminary investigation indicates a red 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac was traveling southbound on SR 380 operated by Anthony R. Stevens, 56, of Wilmington.
A 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was northbound on SR380 operated by Terry M. Scott, 55, of Dayton.
There was a vehicle stopped in the roadway yielding to northbound traffic before turning left onto Inwood Road that was not involved in the crash.

CLINTON COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - A motorcyclist is dead following a crash in Clinton County Tuesday night.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports a 2004 Ford Explorer was traveling southbound on State Route 380 around 5 p.m. when the driver went left of center to avoid a car that was stopped in the road to yield to northbound traffic before turning left on Inwood Road.
While driving left of center, troopers say, the Ford Explorer struck a northbound 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle head-on.
