Body found at Clinton County Courthouse

WILMINGTON The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office continues the investigation after a body was found Tuesday morning just outside at the main entrance of the Clinton County Courthouse.
The body of an adult male was discovered, according to CCSO Col. Brian Prickett, who spoke to the News Journal at the scene just prior to the body being removed from the area.
No other information was released at that time. Contacted later in the afternoon, Prickett said the investigation continued and the sheriff’s office was not yet in a position to release further details.

WILMINGTON A deceased male was found on steps at the Clinton County Courthouse this morning.
Clinton County Sheriff’s Col. Brian Prickett told the News Journal that is the only information they will release at this time. More information is expected to be available today.
South South Street in front of the main courthouse entrance remains blocked off. More information will be posted when it is released.
