Subscriber only The recently-launched trans-Tasman travel bubble has reunited friends, families, and scratched many peoples overseas holiday itch, but others looking to take off need to do one key thing. Australians won t get into New Zealand without a passport, and new research from Booking.com has found almost one in five locals need to locate the vital travel document. The online travel agency also found the destinations that Australians were most keen to visit in the Land of the Long White Cloud. When comparing the period April 6 to April 12 (when the launch date of the travel bubble was revealed) to March, Booking.com found search volume for Queenstown was nearly eight times greater.

News by Evin Priest 20th Apr 2021 9:30 AM Virgin Australia has dropped a massive 72-hour sale that will offer fares on 28 popular major city destinations for as low as $79. The sale began overnight and will last until 11.59pm on Thursday, with bookings made online. A trip from Melbourne to Adelaide can be snapped up for as little as $79 one way, while the sought-after Sydney to Gold Coast route will be offered from $85. Flights from Sydney to Adelaide will be on sale at $99, while Melbourne to Brisbane will cost $119 and Brisbane to Perth $199.
When does Click Frenzy start?
The first unofficial Click Frenzy was for Valentine’s Day and that promotion ran until February 14. The first official event is
Click Frenzy Travel which kicks off at
7pm on the 20th April (that’s today, friends).
A quick glance at the websites’ calendar tells us that the next event is Click Frenzy Mayhem on the 18th May, followed by Click Frenzy Julove on the 13th July. The Main Event will end out the year on the 9th November with a huge cyber weekend showcase. As you can see, there’s a lot in store and we’re all kinds of excited to see exactly what Click Frenzy sales will be available.
