Susan Aitkenhead
The Royal College of Nursing has announced the appointment of Susan Aitkenhead as its new director for Scotland.
Ms Aitkenhead will join the RCN next month from her current role as deputy chief nursing officer for England.
A registered nurse for 33 years, she trained at Glasgow Western and Glasgow South Colleges of Nursing. She went on to become one of Scotland’s first consultant nurses.
