Previously:  CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A crash on Riverside Drive took out a fire hydrant, flooding and closing the northbound lanes. Body pulled from Cumberland River ID d as man who went missing April 10

Clarksville NowCourtesy CPDChristopher Stewart, 47 CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The body found in the Cumberland River near the Smith Branch Boat Ramp just south of Clarksville on April 26 has been identified that of missing 47-year-old Christopher Stewart. Stewart was reported missing on April 20, and had not been heard from since April 10, when he was walking in the 500 block of Riverside Drive around 11 p.m., according to a news release from Clarksville Police Detective Michael Patterson. At about 3:25 p.m. on April 26, barge crews reported seeing a body in the river near the Smith Branch Boat Ramp, according to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Sandra Brandon.

Ronald Strader, 37, has not been seen or heard from since March 22 when he left a residence on Cumberland Drive in Clarksville, according to a news release from Clarksville Police Detective Michael Patterson. Strader was reported as missing on April 20 to CPD, and it was believed that he would be returning to Knoxville. Ronald is a white male, 5-foot-4 and weighs 100 pounds.
