Pflugerville woman, Amber Palmer, accused of Round Rock carjacking

A woman is accused of a carjacking in Round Rock that resulted in a chase where she drove more than 100 mph, according to an arrest affidavit.  Amber Palmer, 28, of Pflugerville, was charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison.  The Williamson County sheriff s office was notified at 2:49 a.m. on Dec. 3 about an armed carjacking in the 2500 block of Blessing Avenue in Round Rock, the affidavit said.  A dispatcher told a deputy that Palmer and a man had arrived in a Camaro and stolen the 2013 Dodge Charger from the victims, according to the affidavit. The dispatcher said the man who was with Palmer had aimed a gun at the victims and made them lie on the ground while Palmer drove away in the Dodge Charger, said the affidavit.

3 wounded after drug deal gone bad in Austin apartment, authorities say

Three people were shot in a drug deal that went wrong in an apartment in Austin, according to an arrest affidavit. Abigail Ontiveros, 19 and Arron Ontiveros, 25, both of Austin, were both charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, a first-degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison.  The affidavit doesn t say if Abigail Ontiveros and Arron Ontiveros are related. The Dec. 30 shooting happened in an apartment in the 13000 block of Pond Springs Road, which is in a part of Austin in Williamson County, the affidavit said. Police were notified at 8:41 p.m. that a man had been shot in the stomach.
