The Stronach 5 will begin at approximately 5:12 p.m. with the Pimlico Special, a 1 3/16-mile event with five graded-stakes winners in the field of 11. The final leg of the Stronach 5 will be the Black-Eyed Susan at approximately 5:44 p.m. Gulfstream Park Mile (G2) winner and Oaklawn Handicap (G2) runner-up Fearless, trained by Todd Pletcher and ridden by Irad Ortiz Jr., is the 9-5 favorite in the Special. Last Judgement, winner of the Challenger (G3) at Tampa Bay Downs over the winter, will be saddled by Mike Maker and ridden by Jose Ortiz. Cordmaker, third in the last two runnings of the Pimlico Special, looks for the third time to be the charm.
