Arned police and paramedics responded to the stabbing at Sunbury Cross shopping centre. A teenager arrested after a stabbing at Sunbury Cross shopping centre last week has been charged with several offences. 18-year-old Kenneth Peat, from Ashford, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place , Surrey Police said on Sunday (May 23). He has since been remanded in custody until June 24, where he will appear at Guildford Crown Court. As the Surrey Comet reported previously, police including armed officers flooded to the scene of the stabbing at Sunbury Cross on Wednesday (May 19) after they received reports of teenagers fighting at around 5.10 pm outside Marks and Spencers.
