LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) Even though he has yet to make a catch for the Huskers, Omar Manning is still making headlines this spring.
The junior college transfer at wide receiver was the star of Nebraska’s open practice last Saturday, but his teammates say he’s been making plays all camp.
“You know Omar, he’s got another gear,” said senior defensive back Cam Taylor-Britt. “Like he’s got different gears he can go to open up.”

Cosmetology School Is Back in Session at Kilgore College
Kilgore College is opening up their cosmetology school again (finally) as News-Journal reports!
This is exciting news to me because I took cosmetology in high school in the 90s. It was my entryway to attending a high school that I wasn t zoned to attend, plus my best friend at the time, Sarah , was going there and we were in the same grade. I wanted to spend my high school experience as close as possible to my bff and if signing up for beauty school was my way in, I was taking it!
Mar. 13—Kilgore College and all the Southwest Junior College Football Conference will start a season of eight games each this month, a season delayed from last fall during the height of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
