In a chat with Goal, the top official of the Israeli Liga Leumit side has voiced his view on the development.
“Talking from the Israeli Premier League point of view, I think it will harm all teams and nations that are not part of the Super League,” Cooper told
Goal.
“It will kill the spirit of competition. Well, some will argue that this kind of thing exists in the United State of America, but I would say that theirs is unique.
“You need to promote; you need to relegate, and it is always about competing about something – this is what is acceptable in football.

PSU theatre explores completely virtual performance in new play ‘The Wolves’

PITTSBURG, Kan. The Plaster Center on Pittsburg State University’s campus is usually brimming with athletes of all sports. The volleyball team spends their time in the gyms training, while the track team practices sprints on the indoor track.
However, in a strange turn of events, this week the Plaster center was the home of PSU’s theater department as they filmed their latest production, “The Wolves”.
Live theatre during the COVID-19 area has been hard to achieve safely. Departments at schools and universities across the country have been forced to use their creative chops to figure out ways to still allow students to perform. For the director of PSU’s latest play and an associate professor in the Department of Communication, Gil Cooper, that meant leaning into the filming side of performing while still trying to honor the essence of live theatre.
2020 was a difficult year for most and Winchester Musicals and Opera Society was no different, however there have been plenty bright moments for the society. The year started with a bang with a string of touring concerts, titled The Sound of Musicals which were a huge success in February with the society playing to large audiences in Colden Common, West Meon and Winchester. In March hopes were that the news of Covid-19 would not delay the society’s plans to start rehearsing for their next production Pirates of Penzance, but a few weeks later it was clear that putting on a summer performance would be impossible.
