ALLEN PARK The Detroit Lions have continued to cut costs by informing cornerback Justin Coleman he will be released, according to multiple reports. They’ve also chopped cornerback Desmond Trufant and linebacker Christian Jones from that franchise-worst defense in recent days, saving the club at least $13.7 million heading into free agency next week.
