NEW YORK – The Latin American boy band CNCO is downsizing.
The group announced on its official Instagram page Sunday that 22-year-old Joel Pimentel is leaving the band, making the successful quintet a quartet.

Joel Pimentel is leaving
CNCO after being one of its members for more than five years. When making public his shocking departure, the Mexican singer explained the reason behind his decision.
The 22-year-old broke the news via Twitter and Instagram on Sunday, May 9. First of all, I wanna thank the CNCOwners for truly being the best and most loyal fans that anyone could wish to have, he began his message. It is with a very heavy heart that I announce that May 14th, will be my last day as a member of CNCO.
Why are you running?
Buckingham: I am passionate about York City and its future. I am a long-time City resident invested in York. Our sons attended York City Schools grades K through 12. My vision is that York City is a place people want to live, to work, to play and to thrive.
Dennis: I am running because I have great passion, even from my youth, to serve and support our community. As a city resident, I have been very consistent as a clergy member, entrepreneur, activist, and world travel, serving our country internationally. Most of my life I have been serving and giving back to the York City community s needs and advocating and supporting the youth and families daily.

The Miami-based Latin boy band - CNCO - announced on Instagram on Sunday that Joel Pimentel is leaving the group, effective Friday, May 14. And from the sounds of things, the split appears to be amicable. We re sad to tell you that after five and a half unforgettable and life changing years together, Friday, May 14th will be Joel s last day as a member of CNCO. We want you all to know that while Joel is leaving and will be pursuing new opportunities, the statement began.
