Andrew Loving, 74, was pronounced dead at his Springhill Road home on June 10, an inquest opening heard. Reading from a police report, senior coroner Christopher Wilkinson said that Mr Loving had fallen. But following a post mortem, consultant pathologist Dr Adnan Al-Badri said that further investigation of Mr Loving s head injury is needed to find out the exact cause of death. Mr Wilkinson adjourned the full inquest to January 18, to be heard at Winchester Coroner s Court.

Erica Compos, 43, has lived in the Jefferson-Chalmers neighborhood for about five years. She was at work Saturday morning at Detroit Receiving Hospital when she received a call from her son, whose room is in her basement.
