Six people were injured in three accidents Saturday in Logan County and rain played in a role in all of them.
The first happened just before 9:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of Nashville Road when 27-year old Shanice Lester of Russellville was southbound when her vehicle hydroplaned.
It went off the left side of the road, down an embankment and came to stop in the middle of a field.
Lester was taken by EMS to Logan Memorial Hospital for treatment of a back injury.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office also investigated a collision that happened about 12:15 p.m. in the 3000 block of Franklin Road, where Joseph Shaffer of Russellville was headed southeast and hydroplaned, causing him to leave the roadway and crash into an embankment.
