The Western Neighborhoods Project (WNP) plays an active role in community affairs on San Francisco s west side. We try to figure out how to use history in a positive and effective way to improve the neighborhoods we love so much, and our organization often acts as a clearinghouse of information between activists, historians, researchers, residents, businesses and community nonprofits. This blog is about issues and events in the Richmond, Sunset, West of Twin Peaks, OMI and Lake Merced areas that have some bearing on WNP s work or the history of San Francisco s west side.
Bertrand Benoit, 24, was reported missing Oct. 15 out of Monroe Township (Gloucester County).
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Bertrand is urged to call Det. Kristyn Morris at (856) 728-9800 x577.

UPDATE: Police reported Wednesday that Benoit was located and is safe.
Police in Gloucester County are asking for the public’s help in locating a man missing for more than a month.
Bertrand Benoit, 24, went missing Oct. 15, according to Monroe Township Police.
Investigators don’t have any leads on where he may have gone.
