Fox News White House correspondent
Kristin Fisher announced on Friday that she is leaving the network at the end of a live hit on Special Report with
Bret Baier.
There are multiple reports out there that Fisher, the daughter of two former astronauts, is joining CNN as a space correspondent.
After Fisher reported on the new jobs report, she told Baier she had some news of her own to report as well.
“From the jobs report to my own job, this is my last live shot on my last day at Fox News,” she said. “I have had an incredible run. I started out six years ago on the early morning weekend shift. I made it all the way to the White House, which is something that has been at the very top of my career bucket list ever since I was a very little girl.”
Oklahoman
Jake and Kristin Fisher started out their marriage by buying a house because they didn’t know any better. We felt like that was what we were supposed to do, Jake Fisher said. That s what a married couple did.
Now they rent an apartment by choice.
Others may feel “stuck” in an apartment while home prices spike across the Oklahoma City area. In the past year, prices jumped 15%, according to the Metro Association of Realtors.
But apartment rents have risen here no more than usual, with one-bedroom units up 3.1% and two-bedroom units up 2.5% year over year, according to Capstone Cos.
Fox News White House correspondent Kristin Fisher to leave network Tal Axelrod
Fox News White House correspondent Kristin Fisher announced Friday she is leaving the network.
Fisher, who has covered the White House since 2019, said on Special Report with Bret Baier that her appearance Friday marked my last live shot on my last day at Fox News, and I ve had an incredible run.
She did not clarify on air where she will be going next, but a source familiar with the matter confirmed to The Hill that she will go to CNN to serve as a correspondent covering space. I started out 6 years ago on the early morning weekend shift. I made it all the way to the White House, which is something that has been at the very top of my career bucket list ever since I was a very little girl. But I ve just realized that there are a few other things on that list that I would like to try to tick off, she said Friday on Fox.
