A mysterious hand breaks open a jewel similar to the one Magu-Chan and Naputaaku were in. A new god, Zonze Ge of Despair, awakens from his slumber. It’s such an uncanny way to start the chapter. But with this new action, this story is finally moving forward. It’s been a bit pale and there needed to be something to shake things up.

Yuuko returns to her childhood home to confront a shadow from her past. Darkness has consumed someone who was once family-and turned her into a deadly enemy. But Yuuko has forged new bonds in Black Label, and with their support, she is able to sever this last link to her past. With the city still in complete chaos and Arashi and Mikoto still out of commission, it appears that Syringe has the upper hand. Syringe’s mastermind, Reika Togo, has been able to not only stay hidden from Black Label but also seems to be able to control the rabid infected citizens of the city. She has also had all the bridges out of the city destroyed. Reika claims it is to help Black Label stem the spread of the infection, but I think it much more likely that she is using
