WHEN we made the abrupt shift to working from home back in March, most of us had to scramble to create makeshift offices where we could get our work done in peace. Kitchen tables, console tables and even ironing boards were used as desks. Office chairs were begged, borrowed and ordered. Bathrooms became the only quiet space in which to conduct Zoom calls.
Now, after almost a year of trial and error, we’re beginning to hit our stride. We’ve found quiet spaces around the house where we can focus without distraction. We’ve discovered the gadgets and gizmos that make WFH life easier. We’ve learned what works and what doesn’t.
