Universal PropTech Inc. Announces Agreement with LuminUltra Technologies to Provide SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Surface Testing

LuminUltra ) to deploy their GeneCount Rapid SARS-CoV-2 surface testing solution for UPI s current and past customers which total over 2,000 facilities including certain aviation assets in Canada today. The Agreement provides UPI the ability to provide testing services employing LuminUltra s GeneCount® qPCR tests as a service.

Universal PropTech Inc. Announces Option Grant
UPI or the
Company ), announces today that it has granted an aggregate of 880,000 options to directors, an officer and consultants of the Company pursuant to the Company s stock option plan. The stock options vest in the following schedule: 40% immediately, 30% on the six-month anniversary of grant; and 30% on the one year anniversary of grant, and may be exercised at a price of $0.30 for a period of three years from the date of grant. The grant of options is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

GovInfoSecurity Twitter Get Permission The FBI is warning that hackers are increasingly using voice phishing, or vishing, to target remote workers as a way of harvesting VPN and other credentials to gain initial access to corporate networks.
Over the last year, the FBI says, hackers have targeted employees at U.S. and international corporations that use VoIP services through vishing techniques and other types of social engineering attacks. After gaining access to the network, many cybercriminals found they had greater network access, including the ability to escalate privileges of the compromised employees’ accounts, thus allowing them to gain further access into the network often causing significant financial damage, the FBI notes in an alert.

Microsoft Teams is prone to the same phishing hazards, impersonation scams and privacy violations as email is, yet many users naïvely treat this and other workplace communications platforms with inherent trust. As a result, they often share sensitive information too freely or click links and open attachments that in an email they might ignore, warns a new report.
Over the past year, the rapid adoption and increased usage of platforms such as Teams, Slack or Google Hangouts due to COVID-19 has only increased the likelihood that a growing number of cybercriminals will try to take advantage of this misplaced trust.
