Cyclist stole women s clothes after peeing in community centre car park

WOMEN S clothes were found strewn across a Hereford path after being stolen by a cyclist from a charity bank. John Alexander Wall, of Merwald Close, Leominster, entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford. Police had come across Wall carrying a plastic bag in Hereford s Hinton Community Centre car park on March 18, prosecutor Mark Hambling said. But instead of speaking to officers, Wall had got on his mountain bike and ridden away, leading officers to search the area for him. An out-of-breath Wall was found a short distance away, while the white carrier bag was hidden under a nearby garden gate and women s clothing was strewn across the ground.

Drunk driver caught stumbling along the A49 after losing his car in crash

Krzysztof Marcin Slowik admitted drink-driving when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford. Police had been on patrol on the A49 between Ross-on-Wye and Hereford when they came across Slowik stumbling through bushes at the roadside in Much Birch on March 5, prosecutor Mark Hambling said. But when officers pulled over to ask if he was ok, Slowik told them he was looking for his car. The 38-year-old was arrested after telling officers he had drunk three beers before driving and had lost control of his car, running off the road at Much Birch. An evidential breath test in custody revealed he had 64 microgrammes of alcohol per litre of blood. The legal limit is 35.

Hereford BMW driver was seven times over the drug-drive limit

Liam Lewis admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford. Police had pulled the 23-year-old BMW driver over in a routine traffic stop in Hereford s Whitecross Road just before 10pm on October 20, prosecutor Ralph Robyns Landricombe said. Lewis was asked to take a roadside drug test and was arrested after it returned a positive result for cannabis. An evidential blood test in custody revealed Lewis had 15 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two. Chris Read, for Lewis, said it was clear that it had simply been a routine stop. There was no criticism of his driving, he said.
