From digital Zoom programming, to remote reference services, to contactless pickup, libraries have had to think creatively to get important resources to people when they need them most. Given recent spikes in case numbers, we’ve continued to adapt to prioritize people’s health and safety without sacrificing the quality of our services. As of Dec. 9, 67% of Connecticut libraries remain open to the public in some capacity. Mystic and Noank Library has rejoined their ranks. Our new Library Director, Chris Bradley, and staff developed a safe reopening plan for this newest stage of the pandemic. We are grateful to move forward with her leadership and expertise.
