The Courier Journal received more than 250 entries for our third annual Color the Jockey Silks competition sponsored by COIT Cleaning & Restoration.
We asked you to get creative and that s exactly what you did. The decorated Kentucky Derby jockey silks you sent us were fun, colorful and unique.
A group of judges from The Courier Journal newsroom whittled the entries down to the top 36 and then chose the top entry in four categories: ages 12 and under, ages 13-20, ages 21 and over, and Best Overall.
Each winner will receive $100 from the Courier Journal.
