Invercargill s piece of Newtonian history

And what better housewarming gift for a space enthusiast than the tree that started it all. The Malus pumila Rosaceae, or Flower of Kent, now growing heartily on McNeill s property, is one of a handful of scions, or cuttings, growing around New Zealand. The original is still standing at Woolsthorpe Manor, in Lincolnshire, in the United Kingdom, where Newton escaped a bubonic plague outbreak for what historians call his Year of Wonders, owing to his contributions to optics, physics and calculus. It was later propagated and planted in the grounds of the England’s National Physical Laboratory. Robyn Edie/Stuff

[Central Park and the Upper West Side ]: Geographicus Rare Antique Maps

1867 (undated)         1 : 5000 Description A scarce map of New York City s Upper West Side, including the southern half of Central Park, issued in 1867 by Matthew Dripps. This is likely the earliest obtainable specific map of the Upper West Side, predating the maps of Egbert Vielé (1868), John Bute Holmes (1874), and Herman Knickerbocker Vielé (1879). Moreover, as the map predates most major development on the Upper West Side, its ichnographic qualities - showing the layout of numerous individual buildings - are of the utmost historical significance. For example, no doubt one of these homes was where Edgar Allen Poe (84th and Broadway) composed The Raven. Coverage extends from West 91st Street to 59th Street and from 5th Avenue to the Hudson River. Cartographically, this map is based upon the 18th century farm surveys of John Randel Jr. (1787 - 1865) and Blackwell, with updates and revisions by the civil engineer John F. Harrison (1824 - 1891).

Granted, given that Emma s goals have mostly consisted of wandering out aimlessly in search of a plot that will give her something to do, the bar hasn t exactly been sky high, but still, Norman s heel turn was something. So, given that last week s ending literally had Norman s hand stained red with the blood of innocent demons young and old, how did

The Promised Neverland Season 2 Episode #09 Anime Review

© Kaiu Shirai, Posuka Demizu / Shueisha · Promised Neverland Production Committee I Promise, it Never Lands What They Say: Somehow, we haven’t bottomed out yet. Episode Nine continues to steamroll through the story, crushing everything in its path. The Review Content (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers): One would think that Norman’s annihilation plan would be the crux of season two’s plot – a moral dilemma between the Grace Field kids and the Lambda kids, where both sides have their justifications, and the solution isn’t black nor white. If CloverWorks needed to cut half of the manga’s content to reach this point,
