Goodwin acts for Hopin on Series C financing

London-headquartered virtual events platform Hopin has instructed Goodwin Procter to advise it on a Series C financing, raising USD 400 million.
The financing round was led by new co-investors, United States venture capital companies Andreessen Horowitz and General Catalyst, as well as late-stage venture capital and growth equity firm IVP, an existing investor.
An array of returning investors also participated in the Series C financing, namely Coatue, DFJ Growth, Northzone, Salesforce Ventures and Tiger Global.
