UPDATE:
Bingham County Sheriff Craig Rowland confirmed the Lavaside Fire has completely destroyed one house, in addition to an abandoned trailer home, in the area of 700 North in Bingham County.
One other house was severely damaged, and multiple others have minor damage. The damage occurred later in the day Thursday, officials said.
As of 2 p.m. Friday, fire crews are continuing to protect structures and extinguish hot spots. Fire behavior has reduced significantly from Thursday. Smoke will likely be visible throughout the day, according to a recent BLM social media update.

FIRTH – A fast-moving wildfire near Hell’s Half Acre, 4 miles west of Firth, is now over 100 acres in size.
The Lavaside Fire started just after 4 p.m. Tuesday and is growing quickly, BLM spokeswoman Kelsey Griffee said.
It is burning grass, brush, and juniper on flat terrain, according to the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. The fire 0% contained, and firefighters have no estimate on when it will be under control.
The cause has not yet been determined.

FIRTH, Idaho (KIFI) - UPDATE 6:20 p.m. The Bureau of Land Management reports the Lavaside Fire is approximately 100 acres and growing.
The fire is moving south, being pushed by light winds from the north/northeast.
Firefighters are aggressively engaging the Lavaside Fire with engines and a bulldozer.
It started Wednesday at approximately 4 p.m.
It is 0% contained with no estimated containment.
The BLM said to contact Bingham County Sheriff for evacuation information. There are no closures.
The cause is under investigation.
