Authorities with the Oklahoma County Jail dispute a health department report that led to the ban on holding juveniles.The jail has struggled since the day it opened, but a surprise visit by the Oklahoma State Department of Health resulted in officials finding dozens of issues. The visit led health officials to ban the Oklahoma County Jail from holding people under 18, although at this point, that doesn t apply to juveniles charged with first-degree murder.As of Monday, 13 juveniles are at the jail.Jail administrator Greg Williams said during a Jail Trust meeting Monday afternoon that many of the problems the health department found have been there for years, and they re working on them as fast as possible.
