Josh Suchon had the right Snyder parent in the radio booth.
Had Tina Snyder joined the Albuquerque Isotopes play-by-play announcer on the call during the third inning against the Salt Lake Bees on Monday night, there no doubt would have been a lot more screaming as her son, Taylor Snyder, pulled an Aaron Slegers pitch over the left-field wall for his second home run since his call up to the Triple-A club on July 2.
Instead, Suchon was conducting a live interview with Taylor’s dad, Cory Snyder, the longtime major league outfielder, who had a controlled, albeit it clearly proud, reaction to the moment that was aired live over Albuquerque airwaves on the 610 KNML-AM and online on the live MiLB.TV stream.
