Typhoon Noruda project was a really neat one that’s like a mix of a short film and OVA that delivered a great visual experience back in 2015. It certainly captured elements of a typhoon hitting Japan in the more rural side well and what can happen. Sentai released this on home video previously and has it streaming on HIDIVE but they never released a trailer for it to their YouTube channel, which they’ve now corrected.
Check out our review of the film.
Directed by John Swasey with Marta Bechtol handling the script, it stars Adam Gibbs as Azuma, Luci Christian as Noruda, Greg Cote as Saijo, Jay Hickman as Kanzaki, Shelley Calene-Black as Momoi, David Wald as Ogino and John Swasey as the News Anchor.
